Why HeartLINK exists

A referral is
only a beginning.

Diagnostics can be far from where patients first seek help. The local clinician may have limited access to cardiology support. And a referral alone does not ensure that a patient reaches care.

HeartLINK addresses those gaps: bringing assessment, targeted diagnostics, specialist review and follow-up into one connected pathway.

Every ECG and echocardiogram in the pathway is reviewed by a cardiologist. The local physician makes the final clinical decision. AI supports assessment and interpretation; it does not diagnose or treat.

Data responsibility and consent

The pathway includes enrollment and consent, structured study capture, cardiologist reporting, local-physician decisions and referral tracking. Data responsibilities and local requirements should be agreed with each implementation partner.

Responsible use of AI

AI assists with auscultation, triage and study interpretation within a clinician-led service. Internal validation results are presented with their study context; independent evaluation remains a separate step.
